Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, I grew up loving art of all forms and took every creative class I could in school. After 15+ years of painting, I've found my sweet spot in exploring the balance between abstraction and realism. My favorite mediums are acrylic paint, oil pastels, and charcoal. Mixing them creates unexpected textures and depth, and an elevated level of intrigue. From mountain ranges and forests to seascapes and floral arrangements, nature is the unifying theme in my work. I find peace and inspiration in the great outdoors and hope to bring that feeling of serenity to others through my art.

My Story

My love story with art

Painting is a form of meditation for me. It’s this interesting and limitless realm where I experience an escape from reality while simultaneously exploring it on a more intimate level. It’s mixing the impossible with the possible and splashing colors on a canvas in any way I want, not just in a way that I’ve seen before. There’s such a sense of freedom to it. It can’t be done right or wrong, it just is as I decide it should be. And I think that level of discovery and creative freedom connects me with my inner child where anything seems possible. Maybe that’s really what I love about sharing my work with others - because I hope they’ll too find a connection to their inner child and be reminded that anything is possible.
