Currently, I’m working on a grant project for the Culver City Arts Foundation titled Save LA, Save Our Planet. As part of this project, I’m creating two 18x24” paintings featuring popular local hiking trails—Griffith Park and Escondido Falls. These paintings will be donated to a sustainability-certified small business or organization in Culver City.

The goal is for these paintings to be displayed in high-traffic areas where people will see them and feel inspired to spend more time outside and appreciate all the natural beauty our city has to offer. With mental health issues on the rise, it’s been scientifically proven that spending time in nature can boost serotonin levels, reduce anxiety, and ease feelings of loneliness by fostering a deeper connection with one’s environment and community.

By donating these paintings to a sustainability-certified organization, I also hope to recognize and reward their commitment to environmental responsibility.
